A native of Busan, Jang Hyuk made his acting debut in the SBS drama Model in 1996.

After several movies and dramas later, his big break came in the form of a romantic comedy which he co-stared with the sassy Jun Ji-hyun. The movie "Windstruck" was a hit which put him in the Asian limelight. In his latest project, he puts on his dancing shoes in Dance of the Dragon and dances with Singapore's Fann Wong.
